Atomic Structure Timeline - this timeline was developed by Lee Buescher, from the Science Department at Watertown High School in Watertown, Wisconsin.  It traces the development of atomic structure from Democritus to Enrico Fermi.  There is a brief summary of the scientist's discovery and a link to detailed information.

Marie Curie and the History of Radioactivity - information from an exhibit at the Science Museum in England on the history of radiation.
Radioactivity:  Historical Figures - a detailed article which traces the history of the study of radioactivity through the work of Roentgen, Becquerel, the Curies, and Rutherford.
